It's crowded in here

By Keith Nunes

A sleeping bag is a coffin

Door shut on four walls is a prison cell

People speaking simultaneously is a riot

Blue sky means no roof on the house

A phone call is a demand

Monologues are meteor storms.

Keith Nunes (Te Ika a Maui) was nominated for Best Small Fictions 2019 and the Pushcart Prize, and has won the Flash Frontier Short Fiction Award. He’s had poetry, fiction, haiku and visuals published around the globe. He creates to stay sane.
